Wave 049 Commits Additional $8.5 Million For FY10

Funding Year 2010 Funding Wave 049 was released on May 3, 2010. The funding wave committed over $8.5 million for Priority One and Priority Two requests. To date, USAC has committed nearly $2.5 billion in FY2010.

USAC issued the 49th funding wave of Funding Year 2010 on May 3, 2011, bringing the total committed amount for Funding Year 2010 near the $2.5 billion mark.

Funding wave 049 included commitments for both priority one and priority two requests, totaling over $8.5 million for 163 approved funding requests. This latest funding wave represented 55 applicants, averaging $155,482.63 per approved applicant request and 111 service providers, averaging $77,040.94 per approved request from service providers. Eighty-six requests were denied in Wave 049, totaling $2.1 million.
