Invoicing Update

Payments for the month of May totaled over $171.1 million against $215.8 million in requests. Invoices were submitted by 1,592 service providers, and 99% were processed within 30 days. The top invoice denial reasons for the month include:

  • Total Commitment Paid
  • Duplicate Billing
  • Invoiced After the Deadline

USAC will accept e-Signatures on a contract if that is valid under state contract law, however, USAC may ask for additional documentation.

The FCC releases a draft eligible services list around June/July and provides stakeholders a chance to provide feedback on what the FCC should include in the list for the year.

USAC stated it was too early to make a pronouncement how they were going to be handling priority two funds in FY 2013 and they do not know when an announcement will be made.

Note: The information above is not the official minutes from the call, but simply notes from Funds For Learning. The official minutes for this call, as well as call minutes from previous months, can be found here.
