USAC Releases FY 2014 Demand Estimate

On April 17, 2014, the Universal Service Company (USAC) released their annual demand estimate to the Federal Communications Commission.  USAC’s estimate of the total program demand for FY 2014 is $4.825 billion which is approximately $160 million less than FY 2013.  The estimated demand for Priority One funding is $2.630 billion which is a decrease of 2.9% from last year while the estimated demand for Priority Two funding is $2.194 billion which is a 3.6% decrease from last year’s demand estimate.
