On May 21, 2014 the SLD released the 2nd FY 2014 funding wave. The SLD notified 2,625 applicants and 1,036 service providers of $92.62 million in commitments. Additionally, the SLD notified 106 applicants that their funding, totaling $2.05 million, will be denied. The FCC has only given the SLD authority to commit Priority One applications to date. The first two funding waves have resulted in commitments totaling $699.9 million and $1.9 billion is still pending for Priority One applications.
