The SLD will conduct the first 2014 E-rate training session on Monday, September 29th and will be traveling to eight cities nationwide for training sessions with E-rate stakeholders. In advance of the event, the SLD has released an agenda and training materials for participants to become more familiar with the new regulations. The trainings will cover E-rate modernization highlights, an overview of the new Form 470 and Form 471, new program compliance rules, eligible services going forward and the new discount rate calculations.
SLD Releases 2014 Applicant Training Agenda and Presentations
The agenda and training slide decks can be downloaded on the USAC site here.
Funds For Learning will have E-rate Guides in attendance at all of the USAC training events, listening to how the recent program changes are affecting applicants, what questions are still unanswered and how USAC will be implementing the new rules. Be sure to look us up at the training events, and we'll be happy to talk about the new E-rate program and your school or library.
If you won't be able to attend one of the USAC training events, please join us for our webinar presentation on October 9th, where we will go over the highlights of the training and give insight on how to approach this filing season.
