FCC Reminder of Modified Appeal Requirements

On November 17, 2014 the FCC released a Public Notice to remind any Universal Service Fund participant and vendor that appeals must be submitted to USAC first before an aggrieved party can seek a review by the FCC.  The new regulations came into effect on September 18, 2014.  This regulation directly impacts E-rate applicants and vendors; unless they are seeking a waiver of a particular program rule, decisions must be appeal with USAC first.

The appeal deadline for Commission review remains at 60 days from the date that USAC issues a decision.
