On August 8, 2016, USAC announced that applicants and service providers can now submit invoices for FY2016. The delay in processing FY2016 payments was necessary in order to allow USAC time to prepare its legacy payment system to process invoices for the new funding year. Vendor and applicant payments for all funding years will be processed using the USAC’s old online system. Payments will not be processed in EPC because of design and implementation issues associated with the new system.
