President Trump has reappointed Ajit Pai to serve a second 5-year term to be an FCC Commissioner. FCC Chairman Pai has stated he will make the closing of the digital divide one of his top priorities and was originally nominated by former President Obama in 2012. The FCC currently has three Commissioners and President Trump still needs to nominate one more Republican and one more Democratic member for the Senate to confirm.
