On October 6, 2017, the Federal Communications Commission released the final Eligible Services List (ESL) for Funding Year 2018, authorizing USAC to open the FY2018 Form 471 filing window no earlier than December 6, 2017. The FCC clarified in the FY2018 ESL that inside wiring for a single building that houses two or more schools is eligible for Category Two support. The FCC did not make additional changes to the proposed ESL and provided a discussion on a few issues that they decided not to include this year.
