On March 31, 2019, the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) released its 2018 Annual Report. The report provides the Federal Communications Commission and Congress details about the non-profit company's activities, expenses, and performance measures regarding its management of the Universal Service Fund programs. USAC highlighted that they successfully transitioned their customer service call center operations to Sutherland Government Solutions which took over the call center on June 1, 2018. USAC further stated that they issued 43% of funding commitment decisions within 30 days of the FY2018 filing window closing totaling $1 billion.
Since 2016, USAC has not reported the speed in which they process appeals or invoices. The 2018 USAC Annual Report can be viewed here.
