FCC to Hold Tribal Workshop August 20

The FCC has announced that on August 20-21 they will be conducting a Tribal Nation’s Workshop to identify and explore opportunities to develop a more robust telecommunications network in those respective communities. The workshop will also focus on the regulatory process to assist tribal leaders, IT managers, government and community planners and schools within Tribal lands.
 
The workshop will include specific information about the Universal Service Programs including the E-rate. The location will be at the Department of the Interior Building, 2021 4th Avenue N, Billings, MT, 59101 in the Medicine Wheel Room.
