2021 Leadership Development: Moving Forward with Resilience

Funds for Learning (FFL) in conjunction with Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women (IEEW) will host an upcoming virtual conference titled, 2021 Leadership Development: Moving Forward with Resilience, and will take place on November 2nd through November 4th. The event will honor Afghan and Rwandan students. The students will have an opportunity to pitch their business plans to a panel of five judges, with the chance to win cash prizes to invest in their businesses. Additionally, prior to the 2021 Leadership Development virtual conference, come listen to Afghanistan In-Country Facilitator, Manizha Wafeq, and PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® graduate, Faheema Eissar, as they share their personal experiences as Afghan women and unique perspectives on the future of women business owners in Afghanistan. This event will take place on November 1, 2021, 6:00pm CST at Cole Community Center, 4400 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City. More details about the November 1st event available here.
