FCC Grants Requests for Waiver on Late Filing of Form 471

On April 11, 2022, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) granted fifteen requests for waiver of the Commission rules regarding late filing of Forms 471 for funding years 2018 and 2019 in the E-rate program and ECF Forms 471 filed during the second application filing window in the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) program.

Additionally, the Commission has allowed the petitioners to submit their ECF Form 471 for eligible equipment and/or services to be received or delivered between July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023. The petitioners have 30 days from the release of this Order to submit and certify their ECF Form 471. USAC has 90 days from the release of this Order to complete their review of the E-rate and ECF applications.
