FCC to Retire Legacy Commission Registration System – July 15

On May 27, 2022, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) released a public notice announcing that it will decommission the Legacy Commission Registration System (CORES) on July 15, 2022 at 6pm EST. Users will be unable to make changes, including resetting passwords, as soon as Legacy CORES is retired.

CORES2, the current version of CORES, has been in operation since 2016, and should be used to register for or maintain an FCC registration Number (FCCRN). Users already registered in CORES2 can continue to manage their FCCFRNs in CORES2. No additional action is required for those already registered in CORES2.
