In the first seven funding waves of Funding Year 2022, USAC has processed more than 40,000 FRNs, committing almost $1.7B for schools and libraries across the country. So far, the pace of commitments has significantly outpaced prior funding years, with approximately $400M more committed for FY2022 than in the first seven waves of FY2020.
In addition to record commitments, funding request denials (or cancellations) in the first seven waves are at a record low, with the amount rejected for FY2022 at roughly half the rate in the past two Funding Years.
