On October 21, 2022, USAC processed the tenth batch of reimbursement requests for the Emergency Connectivity Fund, approving more than $110M in payments for ECF BEAR and SPI payment requests submitted by applicants and service providers. Payment batch 2022.10 was the fourth largest batch processed to date and pushed total disbursements in the program over the $2 billion mark to $2,073,559,618.73.
As of October 28, 2022, USAC had issued $5.83 billion in funding commitments against $8.3 billion in ECF funding requests.
