New Pilot Program for Tribal Libraries Announced

On October 20, 2022, the FCC announced a new pilot program to make it easier for Tribal libraries to apply for broadband funding through the E-rate program, which supports eligible schools and libraries.

The pilot program will initially target 20 Tribal libraries that are new to the E-rate program or have had challenges applying in the past. One-on-one assistance will be provided regarding planning, applying for E-rate support, E-rate invoicing, and other E-rate post-commitment processes.

Applications to apply in the new pilot program are due on November 12, 2022. For more information about the new pilot program, visit: https://www.fcc.gov/tribal-libraries.
