As USAC continues to issue FY2022 funding commitments at a record pace, the percentage of those commitments which are for Category Two products and services is at a four-year high. 42% of the FY2022 commitments issued as of June 17, 2022 were for Category Two services, more than three times the proportion of C2 services funded in the same timeframe in FY2019.
Thus far for FY2022, USAC has issued decisions for almost 70% of the Category Two funding requests (FRNs) submitted by applicants nationwide, with roughly half the C2 requested dollars committed as of June 17.
