In the first 50 days of the Funding Year 2023 Form 471 application window, applicants nationwide had requested $641.33 million, a $20 million increase over Funding Year 2020 and an almost $60 million increase over the same time period in the FY2021 window.
In keeping with the pattern we observed in the first 35 days of the FY2022 window, the cumulative application count for FY2023 continues to outpace the prior two years by almost 13%:
